Basic Life Support Level 2
Course Description:
This informative and interactive course provides delegates with the essential knowledge and skills to provide basic life support. Following Resuscitation Council current guidelines for CPR, participants will confident in dealing with first aid emergencies requiring CPR and AED. This course covers BLS for infants, children and adults.
This course is valid for 1 year.

Course outline:
- Understanding the role and responsibilities of a first-aider
- Assessing an incident
- Infection control
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR
- AED-Automated External Defibrillation
- Recognising and assisting a choking casualty
- Recording and reporting
Course Duration:
3 hours/ half a day
Assessment:
The trainer will carry out ongoing assessment. Learners will be expected to participate in class activities, group discussions and question and answers session.
Certificate:
All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.

Training can be delivered at locations to suit customers or at one of our training venues.
